The location was Vietnam. We were heading up to Halong Bay when Dilip announces that he would have been happy to rough it but because he was with Marion and myself, he thought we would not have been able to cope with it, so booked hotel accommodation instead. Not quite able to picture Dilip in a youth hostel, where exactly had Dilip roughed it? After much blustering and ineffective attempts at changing the subject, it emerges that The Mandarin lobby was as rough as it got. Poor love.
